In a dystopian world that has lost gravity and breathable air, a teenager ventures to discover what happened to her mother, which could prove to be the key to stopping the impending doom of an ocean crashing into a local lake, which is her camp’s only source of oxygen.

In a near futuristic world where gravity has failed and the earth’s atmosphere is gone, JANE, 14, lives in a dilapidated former adventure camp with her father, ED, 30s, and his best friend, BOBBY, 30s, his secret lover. Jane often wonders about her deceased mother, EVA, and the signs around camp that seem to suggest what was once a great love between her and Ed. However, Ed refuses to talk about her. As a source of oxygen, the trio uses moss that hangs from the bottom of a nearby lake, a suspended body of water tethered in place by the magnetic force of the surrounding Lodestone. In order to work with weightlessness, they utilize a variety of different devices like ropes, crampons, harnesses, etc. Soon after discovering her mother’s journal and a computer tablet in need of a password, she finds herself in a perilous situation when the hanging on by a thread structure she’s in finally breaks free.
