Jodie gets questioned about a shipwreck. The interviewer implies she might have been at fault.
Two years later she says goodbye to her husband as she is leaving on a long voyage. Their relationship is clearly tense. Her daughter is not home in the morning so she doesn't get to say goodbye.
She boards the ship and there’s friction between her and the master. An unexpected box is loaded on last minute: a tank. The crew questions Jodie about whether it's safe to put on more weight and she says she will balance it.
A bomb explodes on board, severely injuring one of the crew members. Jodie figures out there are bombs on all the cars with headlights on. They get a letter from an old worker who is angry at Jodie and says he set the bombs.
The Navy sends in a rescue chopper, but only one person (MATHERS, late 40s) drops onto the ship to aid the crew because there’s a big storm and they have to abort the mission.
Mathers investigates and says they have to perform a controlled detonation. The crew gets suspicious and the master tells them about the situation, against Jodies wishes....
