RACHEL (woman, 30s) teaches at an elementary school. She’s dissatisfied with her life. She draws a crescent moon over and over again to pass the time.

GARTNER (man, 50s - 60s) oversees a team of soldiers who are attempting to assassinate BOONE, but Boone manages to fight off every single one of the soldiers and escapes.

Rachel attempts to paint in her messy, directionless home, but the painting, as usual, looks absolutely horrendous. Her sister, LISA (woman, younger than Rachel), convinces her to go out for drinks. Lisa remarks on Rachel’s constant dissatisfaction and invites her to move to Chicago with her.

On her way home, Rachel is hit by a car.

Gartner finds a crescent moon carved into the floor at Boone’s last known location.

Rachel, in the hospital, begins reciting medical terminology from the 19th century. She examines a crescent moon shaped birthmark on her stomach.

Rachel is suddenly able to speak Arabic fluently. She’s also finally able to play the piano, not only well, but like a professional. She goes home and is able to paint a masterpiece.

Gunmen break down her door and ERIKSSON (Adult), a colleague of Gartner, tells her that...
