When a diverse group of teens find the singer-songwriter Prince lying in a Chicago scrap yard, injured and suffering from amnesia, they take it upon themselves to help the troubled rockstar remember who he is, uncover a plot to kill him, and inadvertently inspire him to create his greatest album, “Purple Rain.”
A group of young Chicago misfits come across the global rockstar and icon Prince who is in shambles, and can't even remember his own identity and must help him remember who he is before his next big show.
When the singer Prince turns up injured and with no memories, three teenagers help him rediscover his identity.
A misfit group of high schoolers embark on a mission to help the iconic musician, Prince, get his memories back after they find him injured and lost in a Chicago scrapyard, reigniting his creative spark as they uncover a plot to kill him.

LEVI (14)and GITTLES (14) sit on top of a billboard, spray painting. Suddenly they hear a loud thud, and a figure approaches them.

EARLIER THAT DAY, Levi and Gittles are having a normal day, Levi awkward around crushes, and Gittles trying to fit in with the jocks. A bully approaches them and makes fun of Levi for having only one parent, and Gittles for being poor. Levi punches him.

Levi waits for his mom to pick him up after school. Gittles offers Levi a ride, but Levi refuses. RAY, an older hoodlum, and asks Levi to be apart of his gang, and offers Levi that if he does join, he will earn a lot of money. In order to join, Levi has to tag a billboard with the gangs logo. Gittles overhears, and discourages Levi from doing it.

At home, Levi gets in trouble for the fight, but he over hears his mother talking to his grandfather about their poverty, and how they can't pay back his now dead father's medical bills.

Levi leaves for the billboard. Outside, Gittles insists on coming with. While at the billboard, they hear a loud thud, and a figure approaches. They leave the billboard half...
