A small-town teen uses his newfound technology to search the universe for a better life but what happiness when he can't find what he's looking for or his way back.
When he discovers his new job is a hotspot for travelers of the multiverse, a lonely teenager decides to leave his life behind in search of a better one.
An unconfident and unlucky teenager begins to work the night shifts at a low-key diner and is amazed to discover that this diner serves interdimensional travelers who hail from parallel universes. Determined to escape his mundane reality, he joins the travelers and journeys across the multiverse in search of some excitement, change, and maybe even a second chance.
When a teenager working at a diner discovers a group of people who can travel through universes, he decides to join them, in hopes of finally being able to get the girl he’s always wanted.
A teenager picks up the night shift at a burger restaurant only to find it full of people traveling from different dimensions. He then develops an itch to escape his world and find one where his crush loves him back.

Present, About a Year. There is a brief flashback to 8 years ago and a brief timeskip about 5 years ahead.
The majority takes place in different versions of a diner, Sutton, Massachusetts, and a high school. Brief scenes at a baseball field, elementary school classroom, a house (bedroom, kitchen, basement, backyard), Foodland Grocery store, a car, graveyard, cafe, nature trail with a pond, cemetery, futuristic store resembling Apple, abandoned industrial building, and comic book shop.
ANDY CAMPBELL (9), a kid with low-self-esteem, freezes on the mound of a baseball diamond and doesn't swing at the winning pitch. After losing the game for the whole team, Andy and his mom go to Harry's All-Night Hamburgers. At the diner he meets PIPER FLYNN (9), a vibrant girl, and Andy immediately falls in love.

8 years later, Andy is now 17, and his mom is dead. At high school, he is unpopular and no longer friends with Piper. Andy walks home in his barren and mundane town, Sutton, Massachusetts. At his house, he sees his Dad nearly passed out drunk. He tells Andy that he was laid off for drinking on the job. Andy goes to his room and draws his own comic book. It tells the adventures of an intergalactic traveler.

Later, at Harry's All-Night Hamburgers, Andy asks HARRY (60s), the owner and sole employee, if he can work the night shifts. Harry agrees but warns Andy of the weird customers that come at night. Andy works the night shift, and strange customers from completely different worlds come in. Harry explains that his diner is one of the spots that people from alternate dimensions can travel to.
