A crowd of several small American flags dotted with sixteen stars looks on at a parade of high school marching bands, floats, majorettes, revolutionary war re-enactors, veterans of foreign wars, and an Uncle Sam on stilts. They appear to be in a town called Wynton, Illinois.

The Constance family takes over dishes for the neighborhood July 4th potluck- mother APRIL (Adult), stepfather JOSH (Adult), ISABELLA (14), and POSEY (8). As everyone's enjoying the festivities, Isabella's trying to make a move on their neighbor, COLE (Teen). April pulls them away to enjoy the fireworks display.

While on their way to school, April and Posey notice a mysterious stray puppy looming around the playground.

April goes on a trip to the grocery store. Suddenly, a loud sneeze echoes through. While checking out, April pays and then runs her wrist under the scanner.

The family goes to the football game. On their way home, April and Isabella see some police cars go by towards their street. Seeing they went to their house, it's realized that they're looking for April. April agrees to the arrest and goes into quarantine.

They arrive at the facility and run a few tests. Everything's looking fine, but then things go...
