A soldier, forced to relive her worst day in combat, begins to question her sanity when the VR simulation she’s experiencing doesn’t match her memory of the mission gone wrong.
When a former Navy soldier realizes the VR simulation of her most traumatic mission is inaccurate, she chooses to investigate the inconsistencies instead of work through her own trauma.
An army veteran enrolls in a virtual reality therapy program to overcome her PTSD despite pushback from her friends. However, she discovers some truths that deepen the wound that bonded them together in the first place.
When an army veteran is chosen to participate in an experimental virtual reality therapy program, she is forced to relive the day her friend died, but she starts to question the events that supposedly led to his death.

After having a nightmare about the mission while driving, Mel has immediate road rage and gets into a car accident on purpose. At her court appearance, the judge lets her decide between a jail sentence and a virtual reality therapy program specifically designed for veterans. She chooses therapy.

Mel meets the program's creator, DR. SAMANTHA BERENSON (40's), and gets to the point where she feels comfortable going through with the program. But not even five minutes into the simulation, Mel asks to be taken out. A few days later she goes back in but then constantly claims some of the details are wrong and need to be fixed.

She gets a call from one of her friends, ELLIS, who shares that their friend, JOHNNY, had overdosed on heroin. The group (including BRYANT and PRICE) join them in an interrogation. They agree that Johnny needs help.

A little bit later, Mel goes back into the simulation and...
