When an insecure interior designer is dumped by her long-time boyfriend, her mother gives her a magical engagement ring that allows her to see the end of a relationship with one kiss in the hopes that it will help her find marriage.
As her much younger sister prepares to walk down the aisle, an architectural designer desperately tries to find the one and get proposed to in order to please her mother and feel worthy.

Innocent EMMA (22) tries on a wedding gown before her controlling mother, MAUREEN (Adult), and her jealous sister, CASEY (32). Casey tells Maureen that she thinks her long-time boyfriend, HANK (30s), is about to propose.
Casey, an interior designer, creates preliminary designs that her vain boss, DIANE (early 30s), rejects.
At Casey’s favorite place, carnival Cherry Fringe, Hank breaks up with her.
Casey arrives home to find Maureen, and confesses that Hank dumped her. Maureen gives Casey her engagement ring.
The next day, Hank apologizes and asks to get back together. They kiss, which causes Casey to see Hank breaking up with her again in the future.
After Hank leaves, Casey tells her party girl roommate AMBER (20s) about the vision. Amber insists that they test someone else. They visit their frat boy neighbors and play 'spin the bottle.’ As they play, Casey sees her future breakup with each guy who kisses her. Casey realizes the ring is what has been revealing the future.
Hank arrives again. Casey asks if he is ever going to marry her. He becomes defensive, and she closes the door on him.
