A horrific entity is unleashed when two kids are playing a game while they are being babysat by their cruel cousin.
An 8-year-old and 11-year-old brother and sister are trapped in their aunt’s house with their sadistic older cousin, who is possessed by a demon known as the Skarrow, known for punishing children for taking a game too far. The brother and sister must take part in sinister versions of childhood games in order to defeat the demon
When kids games are taken too far, it awakens the Skarrow. Tonight, two siblings are being babysat by their older cousins, and the Skarrow wants to join in on the fun.
When fun and games go just a little too far, a demonic creature that feeds on fear comes out and forces a group of cousins to play twisted childhood games to fight for their lives.

one night, then six months later, two nights
large house with multiple bedrooms, library, basement, kitchen, dining room. Suburban streets. Video store. Diner. School playground
A family of four, husband and wife, MATTHEW (39), LUCILLE (38), and their two children HANNAH (11) and JOSIAH (8) go to their aunt FIONA’s (46) house to spend the night. Her children are SIDRA (17) and MARCUS (14). OREN (26) rents out FIONA’s basement.

Marcus loves playing games with Josiah and Hannah, but tends to take it a little too far, often scaring Josiah. After dinner Josiah wanders into Fiona’s library and finds his father’s old book when he was 8. The book is a collection of folk stories with creepy pictures. One picture is of the Skarrow, a demon that punishes children for taking a game to far. Matthew tells his son not to worry about it. He tells him some important advice about fear “Scary things only have the power you give them.”

Later that night, the family gets in a car crash and Matthew is killed.

Six months later, Josiah carries Matthew’s broken watch and rubs it to calm down. At school he gets bullied and attacked by some kids. His eye is cut pretty bad and has to wear an eye-patch. Lucille is mad at Hannah for not protecting him.
