In the vein of American Sniper, centers around a marine who, after being denied active duty due to his age and injury, finds himself joining a private military outfit that sends him spiraling into a dangerous state of violence and dismantling his already fractured relationship with his wife and son.
After an injury prevents a soldier from serving the army, his financial and family life fall apart. With little to lose, he gets involved with a secret agency that sends him on a dangerous mission that may never bring him home again
Forced out of duty due to injuries, an experienced war veteran enters the private sector under a friend's recommendation, but ends up serving his country in none of the ways he expected.
A distraught war veteran finds new purpose through private military contracting to support his family and fulfill his patriotic need to serve his country.

With the American flag tattooed on his shoulder, JAMES REED (NA) goes through a series of missions at war. At one point, he injures his knee and is taken to a hospital. He goes back home to his wife BRIANNE (25) and son JACK (3). What was once a perfect, loving family starts to fall apart with James constant PTSDs that scare his son.

James isolates himself in a trailer camp to get back into shape and heal his knee. He takes medications and injections to get through the pain while he works out. Even though, when the time comes to pass the health inspection he fails. James is no longer acceptable on his unit and receives a leave. Without his family and the only profession he knows, a soldier, James is lost. He goes to a storage unit and grabs some belongings, including a computer. He checks his e-mails and sees messages from MIKE (30), one of his best friends, announcing a fellow soldier had died. James decides to go to the funeral, where he meets Mike after a long time.

James goes to Mike's for dinner with his family and realizes how much he missed human contact. He thinks about Brianne...
