Over a comatose patient, OLIVE WATSON (26) mopes about the terrible year she had to a nurse colleague. After ruining her mother's wedding, cheating on her perfect ex-boyfriend PHIL (30s) with the new doctor ALEX (30s) and fighting with her best friend KERRIGAN (26), she can't wait for 2015 to be over so she can start a fresh year.

As she goes home for a lonely New Years Eve night with chicken wings, Cheetos and cheap alcohol, she passes in front of the party where Kerrigan and Phil are. Accidentally honking her car, Phil and his new catch GWEN (NA) spot her and come over to witness how pathetic Olive's life is: in her scrubs, with chicken grease all over her and lonely as can be. They exchange some hateful words before Olive speeds off to avoid Kerrigan seeing her. At home, she has a fit with a calendar, cutting herself and overflowing her toilet. As a result, she slips and hits her head.

When Olive wakes up, she is sleeping next to Phil. As she fumbles out of the bed, Phil tries to calm her down. He is sweet, caring and lovable towards her, just making her confusion even worse. He offers...
