Inspired by the story of Richard Wershe Jr. At the age of 14, Wershe became an undercover informant for local and federal law enforcement agencies in the mid-80s, and grew in that role enough to establish himself as a major drug dealer. He went from being an asset to an eyesore for law enforcement in the drug trafficking wars, and he was brought down in 1988–found with 17 pounds of coke at age 17–and sentenced to life without parole.
Based on a true story, a 16 year old boy from the east side of Detroit is recruited by the government as an undercover drug dealer, but quickly turns and becomes a legitimate drug king pin moving massive amounts of drugs.
In the crime ridden streets of 1980’s Detroit, the FBI recruits a street smart hustling teenager to go undercover when he joins Detroit’s most notorious drug gang. However, he discovers corruption, manipulation, and violence lies on both sides of the law which inspires him to create his own criminal enterprise.
A young white boy living in the poor hoods of Detroit is recruited by the police as an informant, mingling with the black kingpins taking over the town. In the process, he discovers his own potential to be a drug lord.
